Hi, friend! I'm Maria Estes. I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I went to UNC for photojournalism, but quickly realized that weddings and portraits were my passion. Stephen and I met at school and got married right after I graduated in 2013. I can't believe it's been 10 years already!
We have three little ones, Benjamin who is a firecracker, Clara, the beautiful bright spot of 2020, and Andrew, our newest addition! I love that my photography business allows me to work from home and spend so much time with them!

Behind the Camera
I studied photojournalism at UNC (go Tar Heels!) and started this business in 2012. I love mixing posed portraiture with candid moments (for weddings and portrait sessions) and giving my clients images they'll cherish for years to come. But it's more than that.
My business is so much more than photos. It's an opportunity to serve others in a personal way.
My heart is to give you a fun and stress-free photography experience and walk away feeling confident! I know not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera. I'm sure not! You're wondering if you're doing it right or your stressed because your kids aren't listening. I'm right there with you, friend! Whatever session you're interested in, I'll tell you exactly what to expect and give you the tools you need to rock it.
When I'm not taking Photos
Not gonna lie, the kids keep me busy! It's not always easy, but I am oh, so thankful. I love seeing the world through their eyes. Exploring new places with my family is one of my favorite things to do! When I'm not taking care of the kiddos, I'm spending time with Stephen or working on a project around the house (or both).
