Eastern NC Church Wedding Photography

Beth and John got married at a tiny church in Halifax, North Carolina on a rainy and cold Monday afternoon the week before Christmas. And it was absolutely perfect. This is the church that Beth’s grandfather preached at while her mom was growing up. The same church her parents got married at. We even had the chance to recreate one of Beth’s parent’s wedding photos. It was definitely the most intimate ceremony I’ve ever been a part of, just family and a handful of close friends. It’s not everyday I get to be a part of something this special, and I cherish these moments.

Beth and John both love politics and met at a college republicans conference in 2011. Despite their Carolina-Duke rivalry, they began dating shortly after and have been together ever since! Didn’t Beth look absolutely stunning in her blush gown?? It suited her perfectly, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much joy in a first look. It may have been my favorite moment from the whole day! Congratulations Beth and John, and best of luck on your new adventure together in Chicago!!
