Raleigh Park Wedding
It was so special to be a part of Elise and Marty’s beautiful wedding day. Elise’s bother Stephen is a good friend, and it was a joy getting to know his and Elise’s family. I have never felt more taken care of on a wedding day! My goal is to serve my clients the best that I can, and yet they were constantly asking if I needed anything. I truly felt like part of the family, and I don’t take that for granted!
Elise and Marty got married at Fred Fletcher Park in Raleigh, and that’s where we did their engagement session back in October. I think it’s so special when a couple has photos form a special location like that in different seasons. Their wedding day was a little chilly and very windy, but we’re thankful it was sunny! Elise was a trooper taking portraits outside despite the cold wind. The ceremony and reception were held in the Borden Building in the park. Stephen and I actually looked at the building for our reception! It was beautiful, but too small for us. Elise and Marty had a small, intimate wedding, and it was perfect. It has beautiful fireplaces and LOTS of windows. Photographers like windows. =)
