North Carolina Museum of Art Wedding
I second shot this one for Carolyn Marie Photography back in August, so it’s about time it’s posted! Second shooting a wedding is SO different from taking the lead, but that’s not a bad thing! Some of my favorite single images are from second-shooting because I have more freedom to try creative things when I know the primary shooter is getting the must-have shots. We started this beautiful wedding day at a hotel in North Hills. I spent all of that time with Josh and the guys while Carolyn spent that time with the girls. When everyone was ready, we headed over to the North Carolina Museum of Art where we did separate wedding party portraits. Caitlin and Josh elected not to see each other before the ceremony, so we waited until after to do full wedding party portraits and couple portraits. Carolyn took the lead on those while I took photos of guests during cocktail hour. Once I got the shots I needed there, I joined Carolyn, Caitlin, and Josh out on the museum grounds for the last few minutes of couple portraits. It was a haul out to where they were shooting, but it was SO worth it. The light was GORGEOUS and Caitlin and Josh were perfect. What a sweet, sweet day. Congratulations you two!! Happy almost 7 months!
