We started bright and early for this one, and oh was it so worth it. I got to Leah’s apartment at 8am to do some of the getting ready pictures before the first look at 9. 9! I don’t think I’ve ever done a first look that early, but it was before daylight savings time, and 9 wasn’t long after sunrise. I’ve never done a first look for a wedding not long after sunrise before, and it was absolutely beautiful! The light filtering through the trees behind and Leah and Chris was perfect, as was the rest of the day. Leah and Chris are so obviously loved and supported by their friends and family. They have so many people to support them and pray for their marriage. The whole day I couldn’t help but think about how blessed they are.

They had their ceremony in a small chapel on campus at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I loved that little chapel, and it was the perfect place for their wedding! The reception to follow was in the Mill Room at The Factory in downtown Wake Forest. The best part? They made their exit at 1pm and got the spend the whole rest of their wedding day together just the two of them. I LOVED getting to go out to dinner with Stephen after we left our reception. We just talked about how perfect the whole day was and went over everything again and again so we wouldn’t forget anything. I’m glad Chris and Leah had  that chance too. =) Congratulations you two! May the Lord bless you with many joyful years together.
