North Durham Wedding Photography

These two didn’t let the rain get them down on their beautiful October wedding day. Besides, they say rain on your wedding day is lucky, right? Lindsay and Schon got married on Lindsay’s family property in Rougemont, North Carolina. Isn’t it gorgeous!? On a clear day you can make out the Durham skyline from the top of the mountain! (I guess you call it a mountain, I mean, the town is called Rougemont). I could have spent hours on couple portraits all across this property, but alas, time and weather constraints prevented that. We did get to take some fabulous photos on the main house’s wrap around porch, which provided the perfect shelter from the rain.

Schon and Lindsay met in Pennsylvania, and Schon proposed at the Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square. Now they’ve been married almost a month, and I hope it’s been a wonderful one. I wish you both many, many, many more happy months together, and a lifetime of adventure. Congratulations!!
