September Goals
I don’t know about you, but I am SO ready for the fall. Monday there was a little bit of a chill in the air and I thought maybe it was starting, but yesterday and today have been HOT. I don’t want to bad-mouth summer too much, though. We all know what comes after the fall, and while I love the snow, the cold months and the short days get tiresome too after a while. But back to business.
This summer it’s been hard to find a routine. That’s partly because so much of our lives is dictated by Stephen’s school schedule, and when that’s not regular it feels like nothing is. Though the fall semester has started off very busy, once it settles down it will be so good to have a routine again.
To do:
- Design Bridal Guide – I’m working on a guide for my clients to help simplify the wedding planning (and photography planning) process once they book. I’m really excited about this project, but it is a large undertaking!
- Submit Weddings to Blogs – I have several spring and summer weddings that I really love that I need to get prepped to send to blogs!
- Start Mini Sessions – My fall mini sessions begin at the end of this month and I could not be more excited! These are some of my favorite sessions all year, and I can’t wait to meet all the wonderful families I’ll be working with.
- Begin Shooting Fall Weddings – My fall weddings begin this month. After an wonderful August off, I’m excited to get back in the swing of things!
Done:
Finish Editing Summer Weddings– It is SO nice not to have a big editing project on my plate right now. Being caught up feels good!Watch Webinars– I got to take part in several educational webinars this summer and I LOVED them. We should never stop learning, especially about the things we’re passionate about.
