I often can’t believe how blessed I am to get to work with such amazing clients. Last year I shot more engagement sessions, bridal portraits, families, and graduating seniors than I can count, and I loved every session. It’s been a little nostalgic for me going back through every shoot, and it’s been humbling and encouraging to see my own growth over the last twelve months. Thank you!

Engagements

Bridals

Bridal portraits are so different from most other portraits I shoot. It’s easy to rely on interactions with other people to create moments in a portrait session, but with bridal portraits you don’t have that luxury. It challenges me as a photographer to get creative with posing and light to create dramatic and beautiful photos without the human interaction, and I love it! I got to work with so many wonderful women this year (including my sister-in-law!) and I could not be more thankful.

Seniors

I love the energy graduating seniors bring to these sessions. It’s clear they are excited and proud to be finishing one stage and moving on to the next. I love getting to be a part of that!

Family and Maternity

I love celebrating families! Whether it’s a couple about to welcome their first child into the world or a family with grown kids all back for Christmas, it’s always wonderful getting to be a part of it even if it’s just for an hour. It’s hard to pick a favorite session, though the pictures of little Ellie holding and kissing her baby sister Kate just melt my heart.
