Do y’all remember Taylor and Andre from their engagement session in March? They got hitched this past Saturday at Pecan Coteau, and it was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and besides the normal wedding day things like hair and makeup taking longer than expected, everything went so smoothly. A lot of the thanks for that goes to Tandi of Pecan Coteau who was so helpful. She fluffed Taylor’s dress for me, threw her veil when I needed it, and did a million other thing no one noticed. Wedding days don’t go smoothly without someone like her!

These two met at a renaissance fair and love all things nerdy and Lord of the Rings. I wore my Lord of the Rings t-shirt to our engagement session by chance, and it was love at first sight! 😂 I love it when my couples incorporate who they are into their wedding day, and these two did that so well! Taylor described it as Lord of the Rings meets classy meets woodsy. She was exactly right! From the decor to the champagne glasses to Andre’s wedding band…it was all so personal. His band has an elvish inscription on it like the one ring! It says something sweet though. I don’t remember it exactly, but it’s something like “one ring to show our love, one ring to bind us.” I love it!

And these two just seemed like they were having the best time from the start. Their friends were relaxed, joking and having fun too. They chose to do a first look, which I love. The nerves just build and build until the bride and groom see each other for the first time, so it’s nice to do that early in the day! Plus you get so much more time together on your wedding day. 10/10 would recommend! The reception was so relaxed and fun too. The temperature was perfect as the sun was going down, so a lot of guests were enjoying the evening outside the barn. Shout out to Colton of Secret Stache, because the music was awesome.
