I am so excited about these sessions! I’ve been thinking about doing this since Benjamin’s cousin visited in May and we went to the splash pad. It was so much fun taking pictures of Katelyn exploring the water, and it made the heat a little more bearable!
These sessions are specifically geared towards young children (preschool/elementary) and will be a combination of posed portraits and candids. I will be giving less direction than normal so your kiddos can play and explore, and I can capture them in their element. The older Benjamin gets the more I realize how fast it all goes by, and I don’t want to miss any of it!

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my kids don’t like water? No problem! I don’t think Benjamin does either. There are plenty of pretty, shady places at Veterans Park (including a pretty epic slide), so there will be lots of other places to take pictures. Since the sessions are in the morning, it shouldn’t be too terribly hot yet.
Why do you require a contract? I find it’s the best way to make sure we’re all on the same page. It contains my payment policy as well as an inclement weather policy and model release (allowing me to use the photos on my website and social media). Don’t worry, it’s really simple, and it’s all online! If you have any questions about it, don’t hesitate to ask =)
How do I pay? A $50, non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking, and the remainder of the payment is due at the time of the session. I accept card payments through my online booking company, Honeybook (which is also where you can sign the contract).
