Kristle and Parker – Married!

I had another opportunity this fall to shoot with the fabulous Courtney of Courtney Potter Weddings! You should go check our all of her fantastic work and her blog post from Kristle and Parker’s wedding. Thanks again for asking me to shoot! 

The wedding was at Tryon Palace in New Bern, NC. I’ve never to New Bern or Tryon Palace so it was an adventure! The town is quaint and gorgeous and Tryon Palace is beautiful (obviously, I mean, it’s a palace). The ceremony was in a pretty little garden behind the house and the reception was at the North Carolina History Center across the street.

The groomsmen got ready at their hotel and then we took the trolly to the palace, which was awesome! While we were doing groomsmen portraits they had the great idea of posing with the canon, but of course, they had to take turns sticking their heads in it first. The ceremony was simple and lovely and we had lots of time for bridal party and couple portraits afterward (don’t forget to schedule time for that if you’re in the planning stages!) I loved the sweet moments between Kristle and Parker right after the ceremony and the silly ones with their whole bridal party by the water later. With a great group of friends and family like these two have, the reception was bound to be a blast and we weren’t disappointed. What a great day! Congratulations Kristle and Parker!
