Virginia State Park Wedding
Jessica and Bryce crossed paths in college, but really met in a small group at church. Five months into dating, Jess got accepted at BU and Bryce decided to follow her to Massachusetts. They both moved to Boston at the start of the fall semester last year, and on president’s day in February Bryce proposed. On snowshoes. On a mountaintop. How amazing is that!! They’ll be living up there for at least a while longer while Jess finishes school, but her family is from North Carolina, so they picked something a little closer for their wedding. Pocahontas State Park was the perfect choice for them! Both Jessica and Bryce are down-to-earth, thoughtful people who love the outdoors and the peaceful setting just suited them. And it wasn’t too hot! It was hot, just not too hot 😉
I mentioned that Jessica and Bryce are thoughtful. What I mean is I’ve never met more thoughtful people! They had little personalized boxes full of snacks and activities for every kid attending to keep them occupied throughout the ceremony and reception. They were a huge hit!! They also gave me a sweet card and gift for our new little one on the way, and it was just so sweet of them. They are also super talented!! Jessica MADE her wedding dress AND sweet Lillie’s flower girl dress and her family put together all the florals and her mom made the cake. Talent. Congratulations, Jessica and Bryce. Good luck on your new adventure together!!
