UNC Grad Photos
Let me introduce you to Rachel! She just finished up pharmacy school at UNC, and is about to start a job working at the pharmacy at campus health. How awesome that she gets to stay around UNC for a while. She and her fiance Cody are getting married in November in the mountains, one of their favorite places to visit together. He came to help during our session, and, as always, we were very thankful for the extra set of hands!
We started our session at Beard Hall, home of the pharmacy school. Rachel spent a lot of time in this building, and it was only fitting that we do some photos in front. We even included some in her lab coat! I love the lights on in the building behind her, and the purple flowers along the walkway in front.
Then we headed to the Old Well via the Bell Tower. I was hoping that by shooting at 8am on a Saturday morning we’d miss a lot of the other graduation photo crowd, but I was wrong. We had to be super strategic about how we shot at the Bell Tower to avoid other people. And it was even worse at the Old Well! This is why I always recommend taking photos in early April, or even late March. The wait times for photos at the Old Well can get crazy! We waited for almost 30 minutes and the line didn’t move at all, so we opted to take photos around the Old Well instead. I particularly loved the spot by Old East with the well in the background! That angle included a lot of the flowers, which added some gorgeous color to the photos. And Rachel’s dress was so perfect! Congrats again, friend!
