Fuquay Family Photography
Friends, I love this part of my job. Many of you know that we’ve been in Louisiana the last five years. Since being back in NC, I’ve had the privilege of reconnecting with some past clients/friends, and this family is one of them. The last time I photographed the Darnells, Nate was so little! Apparently kids grow a lot in 6 years 😂 They were living in Durham at the time, and I was in Wake Forest. But I had mini sessions at the American Tobacco Campus every once in a while, and that’s where we did our last session. Check out these adorable photos! For an even longer ago blast from the past, here’s the year before at the NC Botanical Gardens.
Anyway, I loved Adam and Heather’s idea for this session. Adam is the executive pastor at our church, and for the past year (or two), he’s been so busy with the new building. Since it’s been such a huge part of their life, and since it’s SO close to being ready, they wanted to do their session there! We did our session in the morning so the front of the building would be in the shade and have nice, even light. We also spent most of our time there where the landscaping is done. But we wanted some photos with trees too. The only spot without the black tree line fence they put up at construction sites was a narrow spot right next to the dumpster 😂 I’m always thankful when my clients trust me to try some seemingly unconventional locations!
