Raleigh Senior Photographer
I had to fly back to Louisiana last weekend to shoot a wedding, and I am SO glad I was able to fit in a senior session for Jenna! Jenna was one of the first high school students I connected with in 2018 when we moved to Louisiana. I did some high school graduation photos for her, and we’ve stayed in touch during her time at Northwestern. Right now she’s student teaching and taking a full course load, which is making life CRAZY. But when I told her I only had Saturday morning free to do a session, she jumped at the chance. I’m so thankful she was able to make it work!
I’m also so thankful the weather held out for our shoot. Her’s wasn’t the only session I had planned for Saturday morning before the wedding. For a while the week before it looked like it might be actively raining all morning. But instead we just got a cool, cloudy day. And cloudy is actually great for photos! Jenna borrowed a cap and gown from a friend, since she won’t get hers for a couple more months. We did most of the session in her black graduation dress, which was gorgeous. And I loved the other outfits she brought that highlighted her time at Northwestern and her passion for teaching.
She is a gem, and I’m so proud of her! I know she’s going to impact so many young lives in her teaching career, and I can’t wait to see where it takes her! Congratulations, Jenna! I know it’s hard to see the end right now, but you’re so close, and we’re all so happy for you!
