South Beau Prom Photos

I had so much fun with Gabe and Brooklun before their prom at the beginning of April! We met at the lakefront behind the Civic Center in Lake Charles, and we really couldn’t have picked a prettier spot. Or asked for better weather! I had just done a bridal session there for this lovely lady a couple weeks before, and I was already excited to go back. (But I can’t share those yet!)

I hadn’t met Gabe before the shoot, but his godmother is a photographer friend of mine. She wanted to take the pictures herself, but had a family commitment and couldn’t be there. I’m so glad she reached out to me! I brought my whole family and we had a picnic dinner at Millennium Park and played for a while before the session. Then Stephen and the kids when to Chick-fil-A for dessert while I was shooting. Don’t worry, they brought me a milkshake 😉

But on to Gabe! He is a South Beauregard senior. He played football and soccer and ran track while in high school. I’m sure that kept him busy!! He and Brooklun met over Facebook and hit it off. After graduation, he will be heading off with the Air Force. He ships out in July! Happy early graduation, Gabe! I hope you had a wonderful prom, and thank you for your upcoming service!!
