Ashlyn and Blaine met on social media, but had mutual friends. By the time they had their first date in 2018, there was an instant connection, and that’s when their relationship began. They fell in love the last few months of college for Ashlyn, and love going to Blaine’s family’s camp at Toledo Bend. They both prioritize family and love cooking and all things Disney. Blaine actually proposed at Cinderella’s wishing well on their Disney trip last year!

It took a while for Ashlyn’s dress to come in, so we did their engagement photos last Thursday, just 9 days before their wedding! It’s actually the dress she’s going to leave her reception in…how cool is that? I also did Ashlyn’s bridals, but you’ll have to wait until next week for those. No spoilers!!

They traveled from Hackberry to Dry Creek to shoot at one of my good friends’ family farms. I love the tree-lined driveway so much, I shoot there as much as possible! If you remember, I did Lisa’s bridals there back in April, and I do family sessions there frequently. It’s definitely a favorite! I love the outfits they chose, and how they wanted to incorporate some special things like their Disney ears and t-shirts as well as blankets that Ashlyn’s mammaw gave her that she’s had since she was little. It’s these personal touches that make your session you! Congratulations, Ashlyn and Blaine! Only a few more days before you’re married!!
