Rustic Ridge Wedding Photography

I love this venue and it’s wonderful owners! I’m so excited I finally got to shoot a wedding here. I’ve done engagement sessions here and family sessions at Rustic Ridge, but this one takes the cake. I mean, just look at that gorgeous ceremony set-up!

This wedding was a little different for me because I was actually the second shooter for Katie Reed, owner of Reed Through the Lens Photography. That means she spent her time with Christina and her bridesmaids getting ready and I spent time with Curry and the guys. I did get to pop over when Christina was getting into her dress, but most of my “getting ready” photos are of Curry! There wasn’t a dedicated inside space for the guys to get ready, but I didn’t mind, because the weather outside was perfect! We did almost all of the getting ready outside right before groomsmen portraits, and it worked perfectly.

Curry was busy setting up for the first bit of my time there, so I got to shoot a lot of details. I don’t normally get to do that when I’m second shooting, so that was a fun surprise! Especially because they had so many beautiful decorations set up! I don’t know Christina and Curry very well, but it was clear that they are so loved by their family and friends. I’m so glad I got to be a part of their wedding!
