DeRidder Bridal Portraits
Now that this pretty lady is married I can share her beyond gorgeous bridal photos from last month! Lisa is a stunning bride, and I truly had a great time making her feel like a million bucks. Almost everyone is nervous before a photo session, and Lisa was no exception. But we laughed a lot (fake laughing turns into real laughing I promise) and that keeps things fun and light.
We did this session at some private property in Dry Creek. It’s actually where I had done Lanie’s graduation photos just the week before. The weather was kind to us both days…it wasn’t too hot and the sun gave us the perfect golden light I’m always chasing. The azaleas weren’t blooming anymore for Lisa’s session, but with all the gorgeous locations for photos we didn’t mind too much.
One thing that came out of this session was that Lisa realized she needed to have her dress altered one more time. That’s not everyone’s experience, but it was mine too when I got married! Sometimes you don’t realize something’s not fitting quite right when you just stand there in the dress at the store. But after moving around a bit, she realized it needed some adjustments. I’m so glad she was able to do that before the wedding, and on the wedding day, it was perfect!
Congratulations, Mrs. LeBlanc! I hope you had a fabulous honeymoon, and I can’t wait to share photos from the wedding!
