Dry Creek Family Photographer
Stephen’s sister, Lauren, and her family came to visit us in October, and it was so lovely to see them!! Katelyn and Emily are Benjamin and Clara’s only cousins, and they hadn’t seen each other since last Christmas. We know it’s hard to travel with little ones, so we are so grateful to them for making the trip. We all had a blast!!
Lauren tries to get photos of the girls every year, and said Katelyn is just so much more relaxed around me than any other photographers they’ve tried. She asked if I’d be okay with taking some photos of them while they were visiting. Of course I said yes!! This session was mainly about the girls, but what kind of sister-in-law would I be if I didn’t get at least a couple family photos? I let them get away without them last time, and I wasn’t going to do it again 😉
These photos are Katelyn’s 4-year-old pictures (a little early) and Emily’s 1-year-old pictures (a little late). Aren’t they ADORABLE? I love love love Katelyn’s “big” smile. Her eyes disappear and her face is one giant, cheesy grin. It’s amazing. And Emily’s sweet little smile. It reminds me so much of Clara, since they’re only 3 months apart. I hope the four of them grow up to be great friends!
And I have to mention the real MVPs of this session….Stephen who hung out with a cranky Benjamin and Clara while we were shooting and Uncle Philip who stood behind me and helped the girls smile and look roughly in the right direction. Thank you!!
Also, thanks again to Dry Creek Baptist Camp for the beautiful grounds to shoot on! We were a little early to catch much fall color…I think we found the only tree with colored leaves on the whole camp!
