DeRidder Maternity Photos

Little Wyatt was born last week so I figured it was about time I finished editing his mama’s maternity photos. It is so special to welcome a new little one, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of celebrating with Faybein and Colton! These two got married in May of 2020. It wasn’t the wedding they had expected or planned because of the pandemic, but I think they’d be the first to tell you they don’t regret it for a minute. On November 10th, they welcomed baby Wyatt! I know they are completely thrilled (and so are the grandparents =)!

We did their maternity photos on Saturday morning back in October. It was the first cool day of the year, and the early light was gorgeous coming through the trees! We took these photos at Dry Creek Baptist Camp, and I had the idea to use these tall white weeds near the lake. I sent Faybein a photo of the location from my phone, and it didn’t look like anything special. But she said if I thought it was a good spot that she trusted me, and I’m so glad she did!!

I also love the dress she wore! I’m a huge fan of maxi dresses for maternity photos. I wore one for Clara’s maternity photos last October (HOW was that over a year ago?), and so did another friend of mine for her maternity photos (coming to the blog soon!) Congratulations, Faybein and Colton!! I can’t wait to meet your sweet boy!
