DeRidder 1-Year Photos

We had this session planned for the last Saturday in June originally, but the weather was looking iffy. I’m so tired of these summer thunderstorms! We decided to postpone, and I’m so glad we did! The day we ended up shooting was a little bit cloudy, which shielded us from the worst of the sun. It was hot, don’t get me wrong, but it could have felt much hotter! We also decided to change locations when we rescheduled. I’m sure their home in the country would have been beautiful too, but the courthouse is one of my favorite places to shoot in DeRidder. I’m so glad they picked it!!

Little miss Charlotte just turned one, and her parents wanted to celebrate with a session! I love milestone sessions because man, those kiddos grow SO fast. And it only gets faster! Charlotte is smiley and adventurous. She loved exploring the grass and touching the water in the fountain. She pointed out lots of interesting things and had a blast swinging with daddy. These are such precious memories for her and her family! Happy birthday, sweet one!
