I had a great time with this sweet family at Prien Lake Park a couple weeks ago! I’m so glad they all got to get together despite all the craziness that’s going on. I know Benjamin’s grandparents are dying to see him, and it was so sweet to see this grandma get to enjoy her grandkids! This little boy is almost one and wasn’t sleeping great away from home, so by the end of our session he was SO ready for a nap. His cousin is just the sweetest little girl you ever did see, and I LOVE the photo of her hugging him. It ended up being more of a tackle, and they’re STILL both more interested in the snacks that someone off-camera was bribing them with. Never a dull moment with littles!!

We decided to do our session first thing in the morning, and I think it was the best decision. Kids tend to do better in the morning than in the evening when it’s close to bedtime. It also wasn’t as hot or as busy at the park as it would have been at 6pm. It still felt plenty hot, but it could have been worse! Stephen, Benjamin and I love coming to this park, even though it’s an hour away, and you can see why. It’s beautiful and has plenty of space for him to walk around and explore. We didn’t get to do any photos by the water because it was so sunny, but that’s one of Benjamin’s favorite things to look at! If you’re ever in Lake Charles on a pretty day, I definitely recommend stopping by!
