Farm-Themed First Birthday Photo Session
It’s hard to believe this session was just 4 weeks ago. So much has changed in 4 weeks! At the beginning of March, coronavirus was something that was happening on the other side of the world. Stephen and I were getting ready to head back to North Carolina for his spring class, and somehow the weather and all of our schedules aligned so I could take Jayce’s one-year photos three days before we left. I’m SO glad it did! No one could have known that by the time we got back from our trip on March 14th that we’d be advised to self-quarantine for 14 days or that just a week later the governor of Louisiana would issue a stay-at-home order. I’ve had to reschedule so many sessions in the past couple weeks, which makes me so sad. But we got to celebrate Jayce-man before all this, and I’m so thankful for that! Jayce turned one this month, and it hasn’t been that long since Benjamin turned one, so it brought back all the feels! I know his parents are so, so thankful for him, and he is just so sweet! He wasn’t sure about his cake at first, but once mama gave him a taste he was all about it. And before I forget, his mom deserves a shout-out. She’s a nurse, and she’s on the front lines of all of this putting herself at risk to care for others. Thank you, Mackenzie!!
