Natchitoches Family Photographer
I know I say this a lot, but I love this family! Stephen works with Charlie at the church, so we’ve gotten to know their family well since moving here. They have become some of our best friends, and we’re so thankful for them! This extended family session was with his wife, Meghan’s family. Her parents were there, as well as her sister, brother-in-law and niece. Even though they all live in Natchitoches, we met most of them for the first time just a few weeks after we moved here last year. The Baileys were kind enough to invite us to go to the zoo in Alexandria with them for Halloween, and a lot of Meghan’s family met us there. It was a great time!
We picked a location in Natchotiches for the photos, starting at an old building that backs up to the fort. Since the Christmas lights are so awesome up there this time of year, we decided to make a day of it. Stephen, Benjamin, and I all drove up there for the photo session, and then the three of us went out to dinner and to look at the lights afterward. Benjamin was a little overwhelmed, but it was really fun. I’d never been downtown or to the riverfront area before, and we loved it! Anyways, I’m always nervous when I show up to a location to shoot that I’ve never been to before, but this spot was great, and the weather cooperated perfectly. Also, I think these folks deserve an award for coordinating outfits. They couldn’t have gone together better!
