I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I just LOVE how happy this little boy is! He laughs easily (particularly at sneezing right now) and loves when we get down on the floor to crawl with him. He still doesn’t like fruit much, but he does like grapes! He has officially outgrown his infant car seat, which is fine, because he’s too heavy for me to carry it around anyway. I had an incredibly busy month with photo sessions and editing, so there is a sad lack of pictures of Benjamin from the last month, but I do have a lot of photo from our NC visit that I still need to share. Maybe after Thanksgiving I’ll get to those. I’m trying to get a LOT done in the next day or two so I can take the rest of the week off to enjoy Thanksgiving with my brother in town. This is the first time I’ve hosted family for Thanksgiving, and I can’t wait!!

• Benjamin got his two bottom teeth this month! I think more are not far behind.
• He learned how to point, wave, clap, and put food in his own mouth all in a few days! About 75% of the time he waves when we say hi or bye and claps when we say yay.
• He understands more and more words. If I ask him where Dada or Sadie is, he looks around for them and then points!
• The day before he turned 11 months old Benjamin took his first steps! He still only does it when coaxed: crawling is a lot faster for now.
• He is eating more and more of what we eat. Last week he tried taco casserole (salsa, black beans, and all) and LOVED it!
