Time flies, when you’re having fun, right? I can’t believe we have a 5-month-old! This past month Aunt Delaney came to visit from Dallas and we went to the zoo in Alexandria! I think the grown ups enjoyed it more than Benjamin did this time, but I know he’ll love it when he’s a little older! For Easter, he wore a super cute outfit from grandma and grandpa Estes. It just kills me when he has tiny versions of grown up clothes! The rest of the month is a little bit of a blur…we’ve been so busy working on the next place we’re going to live! Benjamin came to so many big meetings and he did great. Uncle Evan came to visit the day he turned 5 months old and made him laugh so hard. We are so looking forward to Aunt Lauren, Uncle Matthew, and cousin Katelyn to come visit tomorrow. I have high hopes for the cuteness level of those photos next month =)

• Benjamin’s exploring his voice more and makes funny sounds and grunts all the time.
• He’s starting to be interested in our food while we’re eating! This morning he kept leaning towards my pancakes with outstretched arms LOL
• He can sit on his own for several seconds as long as his hands are in front of him supporting him. We’re just waiting for him to be able to sit up a little better before we start solids, which I’m really excited about!
• Still no teeth, much to his dismay, but he’s working on it, and most of the time it doesn’t seem to bother him as long as he has something in his mouth.
• He loves his activity center, except that he can’t chew on any of the toys, so he has to have Mr. Fox with him when he’s in there.
• This month he also finally learned to roll the other way (belly to back), but he’s still not very good at it. He pushes himself up so high to do it that he bonks his head a little when he falls back down on his back, poor thing.
