I love this girl! She’s our niece; she’s 10 months (almost to the day) older than Benjamin; and she’s adorable! She just turned 1 at the end of February so I did a photo session for her when we were in NC in early March. She is such a joyful little girl, and I LOVE all of her expressions! It’s hard not seeing her very often, but she and her parents are coming to visit at the end of May, and I can’t wait!!

I wanted to do more of her photos outside, but weather was pretty terrible the whole week we were in NC. It was cold and rainy most days…not great weather for a 1-year-old to be outside. We did a few photos in the backyard at the end of the session (which I love!), but most of the time we were in the kitchen with a white curtain hung up as a background. Stephen’s parents have a bay window where the kitchen table goes, so we moved the table and set up there! It worked out pretty well, if you ask me =) Happy birthday, Katelyn!!
