Benjamin | One Month

Happy Valentine’s Day! Benjamin is going to be 2 months old next week so I’m desperately trying to catch up on editing the photos I’ve been taking of him on my real camera. His first month flew by! It probably has something to do with all my days and nights running together and all the family we had coming in and out of town.

This month Benjamin got to meet lots of family! His Nana and Grandpa John came from Cincinnati along with his Aunt Rachel, Uncle Evan, and Aunt Mykayla. They were here for Christmas Day and let me take a bunch of family pictures on my tripod outside. I’m so glad we did that, because they’re our first family photos that include Benjamin and Mykayla!

His Grandpa Glenn and Grandma Lisa came from NC to see him as soon as he was born. It was a wonderful surprise! Then they came back in early January with Uncle Philip. Philip’s middle name is Paul, just like Benjamin’s!

Benjamin loves to eat and he loves the rock n’ play. He has just enough heartburn that flatter surfaces are hard. We love catching him smile accidentally in his sleep! (He’s smiling on purpose now, which is even better, but I’ll save that for his 2-month post). He does great in the car (as long as he’s not hungry), even when we have to drive an hour to doctor’s appointments. We spend a ridiculous amount of time staring at him and telling him how much we love him. Happy (belated) one month little boy!
