These two got married the weekend AFTER Hurricane Florence came through, and you would never have known that a huge storm had just happened. It was a bright and sunny (though definitely HOT) day, so we were able to do all the portraits outside just as we planned. There were some beautiful tall trees right next to the building that provided the perfect spot. And those white front doors where Zach and Andrea tied the knot were gorgeous too!
I actually went to college with Zach and a couple of the groomsmen, so it was fun to reconnect with them throughout the day. I can’t believe it’s been five and half years since we all graduated!
Zach and Andrea met on a camping trip organized by their mutual friend, Jacob. As their group did more and more things together, like game nights and hiking trips, Zach and Andrea’s friendship grew. On New Year’s Eve in 2016 they shared their first kiss and in their words spent the next year sharing some of their favorite things with each other like swing dancing, cribbage, and sushi. On New Year’s Eve in 2017, Zach proposed during a game of charades surrounded by family and friends. How sweet is that? These two were clearly made for each other, and it was a joy to be a part of their wedding day!
