Blush Country Club Wedding
I love morning weddings. Sure you have to wake up early, but by the time you’re leaving the reception you still have a full afternoon and evening to rest, relax and enjoy each other’s company. There’s not pressure to be anywhere or do anything. Stephen and I had an early afternoon wedding, so we got a small taste of that, but Hannah and Taylor made their exit at 2pm!!
These two met at a summer, young adult, small group camp and in Hannah’s words “clicked instantly.” They both love tennis, being active and music. They continued to get to know each other through other small group events and they knew something good was happening. Taylor asked her on a date, milkshakes included, and 9 months later he asked her to marry him! They love adventure, and it’s clear how excited they are about starting this next one together.
Hannah got ready at a friend’s house close to the church and country club. The house was beautiful, and had plenty of room for Hannah’s mom and bridesmaids. It also had a beautiful front yard that was perfect for the first look and wedding party portraits. The night before it looked like it might storm all day, but instead we had cool, cloudy morning, which was perfect!!
This was my second wedding this summer in this little community (I even got to see my couple from June at the wedding!), and I’ve loved both of them. Taylor’s dad officiated both of the ceremonies, which was so sweet, and everyone is so warm and friendly at the reception. Several people remembered me, and asked how I was doing. That’s really special, and I think speaks volumes about Hannah and Taylor. They are so supported and loved! Congratulations, you two!!
