North Carolina Botanical Gardens Wedding

We weren’t sure if the weather was going to hold out for Brittany and Tyler’s big day, but it did, and I’m so thankful!! We got to do the ceremony outside in the gardens and had plenty of gorgeous locations to choose from for portraits. The botanical gardens are amazing!! As was everything else. From the bridesmaids dresses to the bouquets to the catering and dessert. Everyone had a GREAT time, and now they’re married!!

But the wedding day is only a part of every couple’s story. And I LOVE Brittany and Tyler’s story. Here it is as written by Brittany: We met at UNC during our junior year. I was assigned to do a sports documentary for one of my classes, and Tyler is a cyclist. I made my short doc on him and pretty quickly fell for him. The feeling wasn’t exactly mutual, though. I went to DC for an internship that summer and when Tyler visited, he took me on a date (finally!). We went for a bike ride, but I broke my wrist, and we went to the ER. That was our first date, and I knew then I wanted to marry Tyler. We dated senior year and after college, and now they’re married!! They love walking their dog, Lucy, and going to museums together.

One of my favorite moments from this wedding day was when Brittany walked down the aisle. She was clearly emotional, and when Tyler started tearing up, she couldn’t avoid getting misty-eyed herself. It was such a sweet moment for them in front of all their family and friends. I loved getting to capture it! Congratulations, Brittany and Tyler!!
