Best of Family + Senior 2017
These posts are always so hard for me. Maybe it just seems like a huge task? I don’t know. Honestly its probably more the fact that, by January, I need a break. The fall and the holidays are always so busy and in January, when it’s too cold to go outside and it gets dark at 5pm, all I want to do is snuggle on the couch with a blanket and book or movie. It’s hard for me to catch up on the administrative or vision sides of my business this time of year, even though it’s probably the best time of year for it, because I just need a break from it all. But here I am, making myself get these posts done, because I always love the result. And not just the images themselves. I love the wonderful people I get to meet and work with. None of this would be possible without them! And I’m proud of the hard work and growth the images represent.
Last year was an exciting year! I got to work with the most UNC seniors I’ve ever worked with in one spring, and in a couple months I’ll be trying to break that record. I filled up my fall mini sessions too and worked with countless wonderful families, old and new throughout the year. There were times I felt like I was getting better every session and times I felt like I was in a creative rut, but the results of pushing through speak for themselves. I’m proud of my images from last year, and I’m looking forward to learning and growing even more in 2018! I’ll write more about that in my 2018 goals post, but here’s to a great year!!
