Cotton Company Wedding Photography
Liz and Mark met at work 13 years ago and began dating 8 years ago. 2 years ago they bought a house, and this year they decided to tie the knot! They kept it simple with four people in their wedding party total, and it was so special that Mark’s two kids, Taylor and Dylan, were two of them. They are clearly a close-knit family, and the wedding was definitely a family celebration!!
I hadn’t met Liz and Mark before we got coffee at Wake Forest Coffee company a couple weeks before the wedding. I’m glad we chose that spot, because we were able to walk down the street to the Cotton Company to talk about portrait locations ahead of time. Normally I scope things out right before I start shooting, so it was nice to not have to do that for a change! Things I loved about this wedding include the groomsmen’s different colored socks, Mark wiping Liz’s tears during the ceremony, and how much fun Liz and Mark have together. At some point during the reception, Mark noticed a “Do Not Touch” sign over the venue’s thermostat. He took it off, and taped it to Liz’s back. It didn’t take long for her to find it, and her reaction was priceless!! Congratulations, you two!
