November 2017 Goals
This October has been nuts! We had a youth retreat the first weekend, went to the state fair the second weekend, I had a wedding the third weekend, and then I photographed a conference at Southeastern last weekend. In between I’ve shot and edited 8 mini sessions, and done several other family sessions, photographed an engagement session, a senior session and the aforementioned wedding. Nuts! I’ve done a better job than I thought I would staying caught up on editing, but there’s still a lot on my plate. I’m still shooting a lot the next few weeks, so it’s really important that I keep working. No rest for the weary!
To-do:
- Edit and deliver wedding – The wedding was just a week and a half ago, so I have some time to get it done, but I probably need to work on this one first.
- Catch up on other session editing – I’ve got an engagement session, a family session, and a senior portrait session in the queue right now, and I’m shooting two more sessions this week. I gotta stay on top of this pile!
- Teach first photography workshop – I am so excited and so nervous at the same time!
- Finish Shutterfly projects – I have a couple projects I’m working on that I need to finish before Thanksgiving. The CyberMonday deals Shutterfly always has are too good to miss!
Done:
Plan photography workshop– I’ve had the general info planned for a couple months now, but this week I worked hard on the specifics, and I’m so looking forward to teaching!Shoot and edit mini sessions– I did 12 mini sessions this year, and I finished editing them last week. Huzzah!
