When Kellie asked me if I was available to take pictures at Damien’s pinning ceremony, I didn’t really know what that would involve, but I’m so glad she asked!! It was such a special moment for the Avery family, and it was a joy to be a part of it. We were able to take a few family pictures (and senior pictures for Gracie) before the ceremony, and I love the way they turned out! There was more fall color there than anywhere I’ve shot recently!! One of my favorite moments from the ceremony was when the speaker asked the promotees to recognize their family and friends who had supported them along the way. The Avery family was sitting between where I was standing and where Damien was. When we turned around and smiled at them, it was perfect! Congratulations, Avery family!!
