North Carolina Family Photographer

Oh my stars. This family is so dear to me. I love taking care of these sweet girls and watching sci-fi shows or talking theology with Chris and Jaimie. They are some of our best friends here in Wake Forest, and we are going to miss them dearly when they move to Colorado this month. It’s hard to believe that Ellie was just a year old when we met them and the first time we did family photos. (It’s also crazy to see how much I’ve grown as a photographer since then!) We did a pregnancy announcement photo for Kate that year. Then the next May I did maternity photos with Jaimie. Ellie asked me the other day if I remembered the time I took photos of just her and mommy when Kate was still in mommy’s tummy. Of course I do! But I didn’t know she did! Then the year that Kate was just a baby, not even crawling around yet. And the years watching them grow and their personalities develop. Ellie is tender-hearted and thoughtful and Kate is passionate and energetic. I’m going to miss running into them while I take Sadie for her walks, and I’m going to miss the long conversations and $5 burgers at the Hibernian with their parents. We’ll have to come visit you in Colorado before too long!!

Also, special thanks to Anna for taking the last picture of Jaimie and me. She shadowed me for all four of my sessions on Saturday and we had a great time!
