I had a great time with the Burgins on Tuesday and I’m so glad the weather was nice!  I would not have been able to reschedule for a while because I had knee surgery on Wednesday! It was a minor procedure, and I’m already hobbling around my house without crutches, but, for the next few days at least, photo session are pretty much out of the question.

Anyway, we go to church with the Burgins and I’ve gotten to know a lot of them separately. We’ve kept Gavin in the nursery; we had Drew in our Sunday school class last year; Jenna was in my small group on a couple retreats/trips. They are all such genuine and kind people, and I’m so looking forward to being in small group with them this year and getting to know them better. Side note: I didn’t post all the silly photos in this blog post, but I LOVE them. They show kids’ personalities in a different way. You have to get the smiling for the camera ones too, but the silly ones are always my favorite!
