Durham Newborn Session

This little guy is the cutest! He was born on June 11th, just 13 days before our photos were scheduled. Personally I think that’s the perfect time to take newborn photos. It’s enough time for new parents to get to know their new bundle of joy (or at least get started) but not so much time that they don’t look like newborns anymore. And Ian was a champ! We had to take a couple food breaks, but with newborn sessions, that just comes with the territory. I even got to sneak a couple pictures of him and grandma (much to grandma’s dismay 😉 Steven’s mom had a book shower for Ian, and Steven had the great idea to use as many books as we could to set up the photo above. It could not have been cuter! Congratulations, Anna and Steven!
