February 2017 Goals
It’s a new month with new goals! Okay, so some of the list isn’t so new this time. I may have bit off more I could chew last month. I’m going to blame it on the fact that I posted my January goals less than two weeks ago, which did NOT give me a lot of time to get things done.
To-do:
- Post ‘Best of 2016’ blog posts – Next week. It’s going to happen. Really. 😉
- Update website – If that first one actually happens next week, this one will be a piece of cake. Either way, both are getting done before the end of the month!
- Stick with social media schedule – I’ve done pretty well with this for the last 3-4 weeks, and I’m actually starting to enjoy it. Sticking with it in February is a major goal of mine.
- Read everyday – So far, this has not gone so well. It’s hard to make time to read with everything else going on! Hopefully it will be easier now that my December weddings are delivered, but the reality is, you make time for what’s important. If this is actually important to me, I’ll find the time!
- Continue Sadie’s training – In particular, I want to teach her the command “settle” when she’s in her crate. She likes it in there, but when we get home she kind of loses her mind. It’s just about the only time she ever barks/howls. But we want to teach her to show her excitement without bothering the neighbors so much.
Done:
Deliver December wedding – I had 3 weddings in December, two of which I had a second-shooter for. I don’t normally have second-shooters, and man did it increase the time it took me to edit! I knew it would, but I definitely underestimated. I still have editing to do, but it’s SO nice to have no weddings on my slate (at least for the next 2 days).
