North Raleigh Wedding Photography

Hanna and Brendan are both outdoorsy and adventurous (and a little nerdy). I can’t believe how perfectly all the little (and big) details of their wedding day reflected that! From the tree design on the programs and the delicate, leafy jewelry to the beautiful wooded setting. And who could forget the hand-lettered sign straight from Lord of the Rings? Their big day was so them it was perfect.

And don’t even get me started on Hanna. She was an absolutely stunning bride, and was glowing with happiness all day. It’s not hard to take make gorgeous photos when joy is overflowing, and oh it was. This wedding was particularly special to me because Stephen’s family has known Hanna’s family for years and I got to take Hanna’s senior pictures not all that long ago. I could talk about how fast time is going forever, so I’ll try not to start. =)

Hanna’s dad has had ongoing health problems for many years, so it was such a tremendous joy to see him so happy and enjoying the day. I definitely teared up a bit when he and Hanna came down the aisle, and during his toast. What a special, special day. And Hanna, I made that same face when I cut my cake. All difficult tasks call for funny faces. 😉 Congratulations you two!
