Canvas Project
Remember that canvas project I started four months ago?? Well, I started it before the spring busy season really got going, and then I had to put it on hold. Now that I’m officially in the its-too-hot-summer-off-season, I have more time to do things just for fun. I know I’m not the best at coming up with my own ideas for crafts, but that’s where Pinterest comes in. I can find ideas on there and replicate them pretty successfully. I bought 3 canvases in March and intended to paint them in a similar color scheme so they could be put together on the same wall as part of a collage: 1 1×14 to go vertically and 2 8x10s to go horizontally next to it. I did the 11×14 in March and just this week I had time to work on the other two. Stephen and I met at UNC-Chapel Hill, and still feel nostalgic when we go back to campus. SO, one of the smaller ones is North Carolina in UNC colors with a heart over Chapel Hill. The other small one is a celebration of our family. Here are a few photos of my project and the 3 of them together. I LOVE the way they turned out! I’m not sure how I’m going to hang them on the wall yet, but I’m thinking the vertical one in the middle and the smaller two on either side.
