Chapel Hill Bridal Portraits

I know I say this about every wedding, but I really could not be more thrilled for Lauren and her new husband Matthew!!! Lauren is my sister-in-law, so I started to get to know her when I began dating my husband/her brother, Stephen, in the fall of 2010. I’ve actually known Matthew a lot longer than that, but we lost touch when his family moved to Nashville in high school. Lauren and Matt started dating the same time my husband and I did and pushed through long distance for the majority of that time. This past year was the first time they’ve lived in the same city since they started dating! Needless to say, they were both very ready to tie the knot when the time finally came last Saturday. Their wedding was absolutely wonderful, and I am so blessed to celebrate with them. (Sometimes it’s nice to be in front of the camera for a change!)

We did these photos back in July at UNC and I absolutely adore them. Lauren could not be more beautiful and look more happy. And that yummy light! It’s shoots like these that remind me why I love my job. =)
