Personal Post – Snow!

One of my goals this year is to take more photos for fun and post them here for everyone to enjoy. Here it goes! (also, sorry about the quality of the top photo, took it on my iPod!)

There’s something you should know about me. I LOVE the snow. I grew up in Cleveland and Indianapolis where a good snow happened more than once every few years and I miss it. There was nothing better as a kid than building a snow fort in preparation for a snowball fight and coming in later for hot chocolate and a movie. Also, my first Christmas dating my now husband it snowed on Christmas night and we got to walk around UNC’s campus before any of it had been touched. What a great night! I unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy the snow as much as I wanted, but I went for a walk before I had to go into work on Wednesday.

My favorite photos from the walk are ironically some of the photos I took of our flower box on the porch before we even left. They’re not real flowers, but they are special. My mom arranged them in the flower box for our wedding ceremony. I actually kind of love that they weren’t real because here we are in the middle of January and I get to enjoy them!

And last, but certainly not least, my wonderful husband on our morning walk on Wednesday. Going for walks is one of my other favorite things, so it was a pretty perfect morning.
