Victoria and Jerad’s wedding was one of the most fun and unique weddings I’ve ever gotten to photograph. They are so much fun and every detail of their wedding reflected that. The ceremony was at the chapel at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. The chapel was beautiful with huge stained glass windows and large balcony. The reception was also on the military base, at McKeller’s lodge.

These two didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony so they exchanged letters on either side of a door (no peeking, Jerad!) and Victoria did a first look with her dad instead, which was absolutely adorable. Both the ceremony and the reception had a rustic, fall feel which was beautiful. I mean take a look at that bouquet! Some of my favorite parts of the day were at the reception. Victoria choreographed a 5 minute-long dance to a song montage just to prove to Jerad that she can dance. She made a YouTube tutorial video and sent it to everyone attending (except her groom) to create a flash mob scenario. It was AMAZING. She also planned a “shoe-game.” I had no idea what I was in for when I saw this on the itinerary. She and Jerad sat back to back and each had one of their own shoes and one of the other person’s shoes. They got asked a series of questions like, “who is going to fall asleep first tonight?” and they answered by raising the appropriate shoe. They couldn’t see the others’ answer before giving their own, which made it pretty interesting when they didn’t agree. When you see the photos you’ll understand! I had so much fun, and it was clear they did too. Never a dull moment. =) Congratulations Victoria and Jerad!!
