Senior Family Photos

First of all, I love this family. They are some of the most fun and kind people I know. They knew my husband well long before they met me and we actually met independently of him. I was working on a photo story for my photography class about one my dad’s patients, a little boy from India who had a lot of birth defects, but a wonderful missionary couple from India adopted him anyway. This wonderful couple (Raja and Jessica Paulraj, you should definitely check out their blog and read more about their story because it’s amazing, Baby Adam’s Journey) just happened to be staying with the Senior family during their time in NC. I go over to photograph the Paulraj’s one day and get to meet the Seniors too! It was pretty great.

I’ve only gotten to know them better since then, and I’ve loved every minute. If you need more crazy connections, Courtney Potter Cook, who had me second shoot on this portrait session with her, used to go to church with them! Crazy. Anyway, these images capture the Senior family’s fun-loving personality so well. Enjoy!
