Who says you have to have an occasion to take pretty pictures? Jenna and Jordan have been dating for two-a-half-years, and they are just the cutest. Jenna is finishing up her freshman year at Northwestern and Jordan is about to graduate high school. I got to do Jenna’s senior photos in February of last year, and I’m so thankful this session wasn’t as cold as that one!
I call this session a photo date, because that’s exactly what it was! They got all dressed up and we found some GORGEOUS places to shoot (my front yard, not even joking, and Dry Creek Baptist Camp). We had a great time! I love that Jordan brought his guitar for a few photos at the end, and that we kept the session super light and fun. Like many beautiful places in our area, the camp was hit hard by the hurricanes last year. Part of what made this session so special for all of us was shooting at the camp anyway and finding some beautiful spots (it really wasn’t hard). Clean-up really is coming along, and spring makes everything seem brighter. I’m so glad the azaleas were blooming because their bushes (trees really) are amazing!
I’ve known Jenna since we moved here two-and-a-half years ago. Right after these two started dating actually! Jenna was in youth group at our church where my husband is the youth pastor. Even though I haven’t known her long, but it’s been so fun watching her finish high school, figure out what to do next, and start college. She’s a natural leader and a generous friend, and I’m thankful for her!
